Office/Room Hire

Barlow House is available for room bookings. With competitive rates and our central location, it is the ideal venue to hold your course/class, launch, community exhibition, private meeting etc. Barlow House promotes mixed cultural use and on any one night there may be a number of different classes/courses taking place within the building.

Barlow house has various size rooms to accommodate your needs:

Downstairs Room

Full room length 1160cm width 560cm with 4 windows
Half room length 475cm/685cm width 560cm with 2 windows in each room

Upstairs Room

Full room length1160cm width 560cm with 4 windows
Half room length 475cm/685cm width 560cm with 2 windows in each room

Red Room

length 452cm width 488cm with 2 windows

Prices range from €20.00 per hour to €150.00 full day. Tea/coffee and biscuits are available at €1.00 per person

We offer a 10% discount on bookings made for a period of 6 or more sessions, with payment in full being made prior to date of commencement.

Monday to Friday: 9.00am – 10.00pm
Saturday: 9.00am – 6.00pm

Artist Studios

There are four artist studios located in the backyard of our Barlow House Facility. The maximum duration an artist can reside in each studio is negotiable. The rental fee per studio is €35 per week. (This is a subsidised rate). Each Studio is secure with its own washing facilities and electricity point. Toilets are situated as part of the complex to be accessed by the resident artists only and maintained regularly by Droichead Arts Centre. Artists are also offered the option of renting parking space for the year term. Each studio has separate access.
