Film @ Droichead
Do you enjoy watching a good film? Do you want to break the habit of spending week nights at home or in front of the television? Oh and don’t forget to bring a friend, because… this is what you do with friends.
Film @ Droichead is our weekly digital film programme, presented in collaboration with Access Cinema. This partnership allows us to screen a fantastic mix of high quality cinema from around the world. Film @ Droichead presents a diverse programme of international films including an assortment of classic, foreign-language, art-house and independent cinema.
Film @ Droichead gives local audiences the opportunity to see a range of cultural films that rarely make it to commercial cinema for very reasonable prices.
The films are shown on a large digital screen in the comfort of a modern cosy theatre with 162 seats.
We run a weekly screening on Tuesday at 8pm.

- You are on the mailing list
- You are kept up to date about up-coming films and new programmes
- You are consulted when the new seasonal programme is put together and given the chance to propose titles you would like to see included.
Silver Screen Club
The Silver Screen Club takes place once a month on Tuesday afternoons and features a selection of classic films. Admission is free to anyone over 55 and existing film society members.
It’s €3 admission if you are ‘unlucky’ enough to be younger! Why not pick your day off to coincide with the silver screen and enjoy a lazy day in front of the big screen. Enjoy coffee from our cafe and soak into the comfort of our new seats and refurbished theatre.
