There are multi story and outdoor car parks within a 5 minutes walk from both facilities.

Building Access

The Droichead Arts Centre is a fully accessible venue, with adapted toilet and lift access to the Theatre. Please tell us when booking if you have any special requirements and we will do our best to facilitate you.

Walking

Droichead Arts Centre Theatre is located above the Library on Stockwell Street, off West Street, the main shopping street of Drogheda. Stockwell Street is nearly adjacent to St. Peter’s Church. If you’ve come to Bru Restaurant you’ve walked a little too far. The Building is red brick in appearance and sits between Earth Nightclub and Super Valu.

By Bus

Matthews Coaches also run an hourly service through the town from Dublin and Dundalk. Visit www.matthewscoach.com for daily timetables.

By Train

Drogheda railway station has links to all of the major regional destinations including high-speed intercity rail connections to Dundalk, Newry, Belfast and Dublin. Click on to www.irishrail.ie.

By Car

Direct access to the M1 motorway. Dublin Airport and the Port Tunnel are less than a 30-minute drive while Belfast International Airport is 70km to the North. The M1 and the upgrading of the Newry-Dundalk dual carriageway have increased road access from North and South.
